Im gonna give my view on the whole Poyet situation and #PoyetOut - TopicsExpress

Im gonna give my view on the whole Poyet situation and #PoyetOut and new manager stuff. I like Poyet a lot, hes a young, passionate manager who hasnt exactly done a bad job for us since he took over. However, I will admit that the football we are playing is poor and whilst I dont tend to mind if it gets us results, the fact that it isnt delivering results right now and were getting sucked towards the relegation zone, thats when it starts to get worrying. At least we were drawing games earlier this season, theyre slowly starting to turn into losses now. As I said yesterday, this seems like a similar pattern to MONs ultimate demise. A very defensive-minded, counter-attacking side sitting mid-table, bottom half before slipping down towards the relegation zone. Now, Im not gonna say Poyet Out because I like him and I can tell hes trying to make us hard to beat and I understand that. However, when the defensive stability disappears like it did against Hull and yesterday for the goal and the many attempts they had, the more I begin to worry. This transfer window could prove to be pivotal, we need to bring in more creative players, however Poyet also needs to implement a style that will cater to creative players. Draws are fine, but we now have the least amount of wins in the league this season and thats not exactly a good stat and as Ive mentioned, weve lost three of our last four and those draws are beginning to turn into losses. Im still on the #PoyetIn train or whatever, but he needs to learn from his mistakes both on the pitch (Hull and Liverpool games, tactics need to be rectified) and off the pitch after two disappointing transfer windows. /Dan P.S. TL;DR Give Poyet time but Poyet needs to also work on his tactics.
