Im gonna go head and call this instance funny, but from a Karma - TopicsExpress

Im gonna go head and call this instance funny, but from a Karma standpoint, it would behoove me to have taken pity, or if not, empathy on this person in the following instance. There were 4 lanes in total, 2 heading east, 2 opposing lanes heading west and of course an ever present center divider. In both directions, this particular highway is peppered with a series of stoplights, each of which being part of a 4-way intersection where motorist can either proceed straight away, or turn left or right depending on ones destination. In my case, I was heading west in the lane most near the center divider, while simultaneously, there was a vehicle in the lane to my right traveling a few car links behind me. As we, and all othaer cars were approaching an intersection at an upcoming stop light, the signal had changed from yellow to red, necessitating a line up of cars from the crosswalk backwards. At that moment, I realized that I needed to be in the lane to my right so I could turn right at the street just ahead of me... I put my blinker on, was looking over my right shoulder sorta of visually motioning to all those that could see me that I needed to indeed abruptly merge into the lane to my right in order to make a right turn at the street corner just ahead of me. In this situation, most other drivers on the road will play ball with you, and so long as you are seen attempting to make the last second adjustment, most folks dont have a problem simply letting you in such that you can proceed in the direction you desire. Not this time. The gent whom was a few car links behind me in the lane to my right clearly saw that I needed to merge over, but he was having none of it, and instead, as he started to pass me on my right, he looked directly at me, with both our windows rolled down, and as he passes me, he snickers aloud and blatantly erects his middle finger at me as hes carousing past me in the space he obviously knew I needed to be. Im making eye contact with him as hes flipping me off, laughing aloud as he does so, and just as his car clears mine, and his neck turned back to face the road straight ahead, he realizes, albeit a few moments to late, that the car immediately in front of him, which had been moving forward moments prior, had now stopped short, and this dude so preoccupied with flipping me the bird, WHAM, slams right into the car in front of him, as I, meanwhile, cut in right behind him, then another maneuver to my right bringing me closer to the right side curb, i accelerated, made my right turn, and sped off. So what just happened. A guy that was so proud of himself for not allowing me to cut in front of him so that I could make my upcoming right turn, meanders past me while flipping me off and laughing aloud, slams into the back of the car that had stopped short in front of him in his lane. So, was it funny, or should I have stopped? BTW, the impact was at low speed and by no means was anyone hurt. But it looked like his car still took a beating!! Oh dwell!!!
