Im gonna step out on a limb (no pun intended) and re evaluate my thinking on this child abuse charge on Peterson. First off the media called it a stick. It was a switch. Very similar time a willow switch. Which I grew up deathly afraid of. The marks on the childs legs look like switch marks. Not stick marks. I know this is a touchy subject but if it werent for that willow tree in my back yard I might be in prison now. Seriously! The fear of a calculated lickin kept me in check. It taught me that there are consequences for my actions. Some of you knew my parents. They were kind, loving people...but stern. This is one of our countries problems. Some people abuse the switch. Others try to stop it completely. Both can be counter productive. Somewhere in the middle is what is needed.
