Im gonna tell a story. There once was a man who built his tower out of regrets and mistakes he had made. He had the tallest tower out of the entire kingdom! That didnt make the man happy though. For he would always know that the tower was made of his sorrows, regrets, and mistakes. The most popular people of the land slammed their hand on his back and said Good job on that tower! Its a beauty! He would look as sad as he was every day and just shrug it off. Since it was the tallest tower in the kingdom, he pronounced to every one in the town square, Tonight! Ladies and gentlemen, I will climb the tallest tower in the kingdom and come back down!! The crowd cheered and celebrated. Because, surely, the man who built the tallest tower in all the kingdom can climb it up and back down. The man started climbing his way up the tower, he never looked down or stopped for a breath. Almost a quarter of his way, he saw a giant lion standing between him and his climbing. The lion lunged at him but the man dodged out of the way, but his face was scratched. He continued to climb and climb this time he always looked down to see if the lion was coming for him. When he reached his halfway point it was sunset. He was met face to face with a cougar. It looked him dead in the eye but never made a move. The man quickly climbed his way around him, he was sweating and panicking, but the cougar never touched him. By the time he climbed three quarters of his journey, it was night time and he was getting tired, he was weeping while he would climb. He never looked down or around to see if he was being chased or if something was in front of him. He would just weep and keep going. He thought about jumping off the tower without finishing his journey that he promised the people. But he knew he could push through it no matter how much it hurt. He struggled on climbing on top of the very tall tower made of sorrows, tears, regrets, and mistakes. But once he reached the top of the tower, it was the beginning of the new day and the sun was rising. He saw a very beautiful woman laying on a bed, he didnt see her face, she was facing the opposite of him and she was laughing. For once he believed that he had found his happiness and joy and the tower could finally be deserted. He walked towards the woman and said to her Who are you? Are you meant for me? He put his hand on her shoulder and saw that the beautiful girl, he thought he earned, was the one woman he loved his whole life, in secret. She was lying in the bed with his best friend. They had always said that they would never interfere with who they liked, they made their oaths and promised each other. But they exchanged kisses and their feelings straight from their heart, in front of the poor man who had created the tallest tower made out of depression, sorrows, tears, regrets, and mistakes. The woman stood up from the bed and gave him some rope, saying You know what you must do. He couldnt believe what he had just seen after his whole journey of climbing this obstacle. He tied the rope around his neck, tied it to some stone that would hold the knot, and jumped. In his mind he said his last words, I said I would climb up and come back down, I never said how I would come back down. As he fell through the clouds he met his eyes with the cougar again, this time he felt absolution and certainty with what decision he had made. Soon he would see the lion again. But this time he was ready. He fell to the level of the very angry lion, who was apparently waiting for him. The lion got one more attack on the poor man with the largest tower. His whole face was scratched, it took up almost his entire face. As he was heading towards the end of his free fall the rope around his neck squeezed and tugged him in air. The people saw him hanging there by the tower, they were all memorized and in awe. They didnt know what to do. They all whispered to each other about how much they couldnt believe what had just happened. One person in the crowd whispered to the apparent date that was with her, Who was that man? The man replied back to his date, I have no idea. Finally they witnessed the tower crumbling down to dust. They watched ones silence and the self destruction of their tower made of hatred, depression, sorrows, tears, regrets, and mistakes.
