Im grateful to live in a place that has seasons. My wife and I - TopicsExpress

Im grateful to live in a place that has seasons. My wife and I love Fall, particularly as the green, rolling hills of Tennessee slowly fade into blazing yellows, oranges and reds. For chilly mornings and frost on the grass. Im even happy to enjoy the (very) few snow days we get here. Growing up in Southern California, the weather altered very slightly (if at all) from month-to-month. Living here purposely subjects me to nature, pulling me closer to her. Its now understandable how talking about the weather was such a common past time 100 years ago - humans had yet to fully insulate themselves from the outside elements as we have today. Rain on the roof, wind through the leaves, ice on the windshield and morning fog drifting through the valleys all remind me that I am only a passenger on this planet and should take a breath and enjoy the ride.
