Im having a moment. Perhaps, it is the share that one of the BttB women put out into the world this morning. Its posted below. What is true, is that sometimes, I cry. Sometimes the enormity of the work that I do, and share with my colleagues and everyone that supports our work, feels so extraordinarily big and important that my heart beats funny. When I witness what unfolds during five or six days for women when they can drop their swords and be covered by not only pleasure but full on acceptance, and the love of other women - I dont understand why this work is not featured in every psychological journal and conference. I know that every movement takes time. I have been here before, when I worked to make IVF mainstream and to take infertility out of the closet. I know how to do this. I have lead movements before. And that means is working to shed light on this work, and expose the shadows. This morning I am so moved by the fierce women who are showing up in record numbers to try. To taste what is possible. And I am crying, because I do feel my own teacher rising in a way that is full on, heart centered and beautiful. The Tuscany women are traveling home, and a new group of women are preparing to travel to Victoria, BC in a few weeks. In November we will have completed a second year and ten sold out retreats. I think we can name this a movement being born.
