Im having another hair crisis. I have strange hair. I dont know how to define it, because its never consistent. Some days, its so slippery and straight, I cant do anything but weep at how lifeless it is (like today). Other days, it bushes out at the ends in crinkle waves and floats around maddeningly. It gets caught in everything, even itself. Even my BANGS sometimes knot up for no reason. I dont want to lose length, but Im terrified if I get layers, it wont do much except look stupid. And the tangles! I turn my head, I have at least three rats. Pony tail holders somehow end up with hairs wrapped, fuzzed, and dead around them. Leave in conditioner just weighs it down. Products just make the hair hard and stiff. If I moisturize, its limp..if I try to skip even a day without shampooing, it gets rubbery and tacky. Its heavy, but acts like fine hair. It never has bounce. Ive -never- had bouncy hair or curtain-like hair. Styles dont stick, ponytails make my head look tiny. I baby my hair as much as I can, but the ends are perpetually frayed and split, even an HOUR after a trim. Ive never had great hair, not even as a child. I just want to have one good hair day.
