Im having difficulty spawning my sibling pair of half moon scarlet bettas. The male does everything that he is supposed to ie he builds a great bubble nest, she is in the tank with him in her glass chimney, they flare etc. I release her after a few days (6) and of course she hid from him but he enticed her to the nest several times. I then had to go out for a while, big mistake because when I got back there was a Mexican stand of and she had totally ripped his fins to shreds. He has now recovered substantially. What can I do to spawn this pair successfully. Help please.
