Im having so much fun practicing my new act in Rundle Mall! Last week was pretty awful cuz I came at midday which was way too hot and the suns glare was blinding. I discovered that coming to Rundle Mall around 4pm is much better. Its much cooler, its a chilled out vibe at that time. Currently I am only playing my original songs, I will slowly work in some famous covers into my set list to make my set 50:50 (half originals, half covers). Ill try to extend the set duration to 2hrs. If theres one thing I absolutely hate about my loop pedal (Boss RC-30). Its that if you hit the record pedal TWICE it turns on the effects function which sounds absolutely awful. I made that mistake today because I couldnt see that the pedal indicator was already lit due to the suns reflection on my pedal board. I would never make this mistake at home (indoors). I can avoid these problems by switching to The RC-300 Loop Station. Problem with the RC-300 is it is expensive and its pretty heavy and bulky. My busking bag is already 30kgs as it is lol.
