Im heading to the ball field a bit early to beat all of my boys there to soak in what could be a huge day...It is the first round of the playoffs and my Tigers are ready to go to battle...I like our gameplan and I like our chances...but I have bittersweet feelings...I have been blessed to coach some incredible young men during the 17 years I have been coaching little league...I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to coach my own son...He is a good football player and God has blessed him with natural athletic ability...I have coached with some great men that many of them I am blessed to call friend...Today...if we win, we play in the championship on Saturday...but if we come up short today will be the last day that I coach my son in little league football (he will be playing at the middle school next year)...I think I am going to try to slow the world down and enjoy these next couple of hours and enjoy doing what I do with these boys and my best buddy....Go Tigers!!!
