Im heartbroken to hear that Stan Jay has passed. He was always so kind to me and was truly the guru when it came to acoustic stringed instruments. The first time i came to Mandolin Brothers i was 19-and he handed me guitars we both knew i couldnt afford to try out. He made me feel at home every time i was there-which for years was on a monthly basis. Many a day i spent in their repair shop-it was a family operation in every sense of the word. My thoughts and prayers are with the Jay family... Thank you Stan
