Im home, feeling weird, grateful for the awesome messages here on FB which Ive finally been able to read. They watched us like hawks if we were ever even permitted a head-scratchin minute with our much-missed mobiles. (Phones can be a form of addiction so absolutely no FB or email checking permitted.) I didnt make it clear in my last post that I attended the treatment centre for lingering depression, not addiction, but past and sublimated forms of addiction came into play and I attended a host of 12-step meetings to great effect. Im going to my first outside NA meeting tonight, and Im strangely keen. Its going to take me a while to land back here properly. My bodys here but my heads still back at South Park, as the joint came to be known. Made some great friends there, and plan to stay in touch with a few. No sugar or caffeine for a month. Want some chocolate cake Todd made. Lost 4kg, which didnt sound like much until I turned it into pounds and realised that was nearly a stone. Nice going, me. So freaky to be home. Kenji and Elsie are over the moon, and were minding Mums heavy lump of a kit called Luke.
