Im hoping that was the grossest thing my daughter will ever convince me to try. My seven year old is high spirited and intense most of the time (when she is at home), and with that intensity she is very persuasive. Tonight she was just positive that we should all try oil pulling (something I had never heard of). She independently got the coconut oil and tablespoon from the kitchen. I was the only one who agreed to try it with her. For twenty minutes we swished coconut oil in our mouths. She set the timer and communicated with me using a dry erase marker writing on the fridge. Her hope is that her dad will try it as there are some reports (rumors) it could help symptoms of some terminal illnesses to pull oil with coconut oil. Ill try it for a week with her. Our teeth do look pretty shiny, but yuck. If you have a sensitive gag reflex, this may not be for you.
