Im in Marion. Very hot and humid today, I was tired all day from not sleeping last night. I met some really nice people along the way today. A State Trooper Felix and his wife Yvonne, they gave me money water gatorade and an amino acid energy mix. Buddy and Jean who donated some money. Wendys gave me a free dinner thanks to Denise set up by Joe. Also State Trooper stopped me late in the day saying they would escort me across to the 55 pedestrian walk across the bridge. Met another officer and his son who donated just before I got to the hotel. Tough last three miles without a shoulder but Im here and it was a good day. Thank our Vets
