Im in Newcastle for 3 days in a hotel 6 minutes away from the event. I set off 60 minutes before I needed to be there and arrived 30 minutes late. I stressed, screamed, blamed my phone for letting me down. I even punched the roof in anger. I learned an important lesson today because no matter how stressed I was, angry I became it took me further away and more lost in a city I didnt know. I had a moment of calm, I realised it had happened, nothing I did could change it and I became calm, when I became calm I quickly found my destination. I learned that being calm gives you calm, and calm gives you control. My goal was to find a hotel and learn some cool shit. I arrived late but im still learning cool shit You can apply this in your life, you mind gives you what you ask of itso if you ask for anger youll find it but when you are calm you8u can easily achieve your goaks, learn to be calm, controled and you can make calm controled choices about the shit things in your life, the shit things can be fixed just with clear thinking. Realising you have no control over outside forces gives you control about your reaction to it and what happens after the fact. Try taking a step back next time you get pissed off youll soon see the problem isnt as bad as the moment tells you it is.
