Im in a bit of shock. We were thinking we was going to have to say goodbye to Pyper tomorrow. Her MRI looked so bad. They thought she had stroked in her front lobe, middle brain, and brain stem. The doctors had told us we needed to decide on removing Pypers breathing tube. They brought in one more specialist on neurology to look at her MRI. He thinks Pyper might have a rare disease called ADEM. This causes inflammation in the brain. They can do a course of steroids and with in 5 days we will know if it helps. Pypers thinking part of her brain has not been affected at all. She may have a lot of physical therapy and may not get all her movement back but the Dr said she can learn and talk and be our Pyper!!! I cant believe a few hours ago I was trying to figure out how I was going to tell my ballerina goodbye. Now we have this one last hope!!! Please continue praying for our little Pyper!!!
