Im in tears right now. I have been trying to get over to the organizations storage place for weeks. I finally get there today with my son. An elderly man with a very long white beard is loading a long trailer and van with items from his storage unit. I stayed in the car because I had on my pajamas because Im sick and my son want to get out the one thing we needed from storage and the man asked Trey about The Arms Forces sign on my car. n sin gave h one of my cards. Then we noticed his plates Purple Heart. I got out in my PJs told him thank you and asked if I could give him hug of gratitude. It in his frail voice he said yes. I asked if he was moving etc. He told me he and wife were evicted a few months ago because she is so sick but they have found a place to live now. I asked if my son could help load and then go with him to unload and I would go get dressed and be back to get him. He agreed. Why with all he did for this country is this man living this life? Talk about falling trough the cracks. I know many more exist, but the message for me today is to always be AWARE and LOOK for what might not be so apparent and STEP up and Do something!! This was another GODincidence in my life!!
