Im in the MICU waiting room, and I stayed with Chet from 4-6. Will go back from 7:30-8:30. As Sherry Maples Tew mentioned, they pulled the breathing tube this morning. He is on an oxygen mask right now, and although his oxygen level isnt great, hes doing fair on his own. He is communicating well and more alert than he has been. He tries to talk, but of course, thats not possible right now, due to the fact that he had the tube in his throat for so long. PLEASE continue to pray-his SPIRIT is fighting so hard to stay, but his body has just begun its journey back.
