Im in the process of directing my creative energies to projects - TopicsExpress

Im in the process of directing my creative energies to projects that generate residual income over time. About ten years ago, I started doing this in a modest way in a virtual 3d community called SecondLife. I spent about 3 months creating 3d textures that could be used in second life and other 3d environments such as Maya, lightwave, etc. This initial creative spurt has generated a small continuous stream of income that I can count on even today. Im now very interested in networking with other artists who are currently working in other artistic markets that generate revenue over a long period of time, such as calendar art, greeting cards, art prints, clip art libraries, etc. I have found niches in the 3d texture market that seem to be expanding rather than shrinking. Do any of my Facebook friends make a living off the residual income generated by their artwork? Id love to privately chat with you about the pros and cons of working this way. I wish now I had explored this years ago. Contact me via private message if you make a residual income from things like art prints, comic strips, textures, calendars, greeting cards or even book illustration. All of the book illustration projects Ive worked on in the past were not based on any residual payments but only had an initial total payout.
