Im interested in other opinions on SB 260 (2014): To amend section 4517.12 of the Revised Code to prohibit the Registrar of Motor Vehicles from issuing a motor vehicle dealers license or motor vehicle leasing dealers license to a motor vehicle manufacturer for the retail sale or lease of new or used motor vehicles. I am opposed to this bill (but no fan of Tesla either), and Id like to hear a valid reason for supporting it (and preserving donations from auto dealerships is not a valid reason). The sponsor and both co-sponsors are (R).
