Im irked by comments on The Sound of Ideas this morning. While discussing marriage equality, Christopher Quinn, vice president of content, Northeast Ohio Media Group, interjects the kind of hate-baiting, transphobic language were used to from The Plain Dealer! At 39:30: Cleveland City Council is going in the complete opposite direction. I dont know if youve seen what theyre proposing to do; but they will be arguing an ordinance now that will allow people to determine which restroom they use by declaring their preference. Um, theyre basically saying that if you feel that, if youre a man that feels youre actually a woman, you can use the womens restroom and vice versa.
