Im just a little obsessed with this cause. A random stranger sent me a $20 donation and I cried! Im not sleeping because my brain wont shut down as I am brainstorming all the time. I posted a picture on my wall tonight of a 4kg bag of sugar for $17.99, asking if anyone had $17 to spare as I was short, and now I have another supporter! I told my co-workers about this endeavour (other nurses) and I was met with such negativity I was so shocked! The usual move/welfare/get jobs comments and discussion were made and I nearly cried. All I could say to them was they should get involved because they seemed to have all the answers. Surprisingly, several of them made contributions the next day. I have never felt so emotionally vested in a cause before. Its overwhelming. Im so thankful to be a part of this!
