Im just curious... Where are all the concerned posts about Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown? Where are all the Eric Garner I cant breathe shirts? What happen to the support for the police officers that where murdered around the country? And finally what happen to all the angry people texting me, calling me & inboxing me saying: lets do something! How can I help? Lets organize a rally or protest! I got off my butt and got on the phone. I started having meetings, invested my time and effort only to turn around to realize Im all by myself. Look I get it, its back to your life. Back to your job, house, family & kids. Its back to the club to pop bottles. Back to watching the NBA, NHL & NFL games. No more social, political or conscious post... Its back to selfies, Side chicks or Niggas be like Memes & Hashtags. Im not angry because Im no saint. What I am is ashamed of what weve become as a society. Ive seen to much and done to little. In my life time Ive witnessed 5 Presidents. From Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and now Barack Obama. Neither was better than the other in terms of social change. I heard the same promises and the same level of failure. This leads me to believe it is up to us The people to make the changes needed. In light of current events I made a promise to stand up... Even if that means standing alone. Why? Because in 2015... families are homeless & cold, children are starving and people are dying. You can stand in lines for iPhones & Jordans but cant stand with me against injustice? I intend on finishing what I started. If your with me you know how to find me. As for the rest of you...
