Im just glad to be a part of this incredible group. My first memories were back in the 50s when I was next to a baby. My dad was a commercial fisherman and eventually worked on the Munstad pier at one of the fish markets. I remember trailing my dad to work one day (from Catalina Ave) and catching my first Bonita at the age of 6 back in 1959. There was one night early in 1960 when the Grunion were running and I fell off the rocks at the breakwater next to the pier. My dad plucked me out of the surf and we went home completely soaked! Those were the days!
