Im just going to go ahead and tell you this straight up: Just like last year, and the year before that, and every year you have been alive on this earth, we have had bad things happen to us that were out of our control. Things that shook us to our core & changed our lives in unexpected ways which we look back on but couldnt avoid even if we went back in time with the hindsight we have now. And you know what, I guarantee you that things like that are going to happen this year and every year after until we are no longer here. But let me tell you something, friends - THATS OKAY. And you want to know why? Because it has to be. You have a choice, you can either focus on the things that happen which are out of your control, or you can choose to put your energy into making decisions which you have direct control over that can make your life ten, twenty, a THOUSAND times more productive. And trust me, this is coming from a guy, who, for years, decades even, wrapped himself up in the helpless victim blanket of mental illness and insisted on wasting nearly all of his time on the former. I was living passive, reactive when I needed to be proactive. Living my life everyday as an impulse to what others were saying/doing instead of making choices as to what I wanted. But I was wrong. And I did something about it. I believe you can, too. Its not easy, but just like anything else which comes with great reward, its worth it. And no matter who you are or what you struggle with, it all starts with the same step - A willingness to admit you want to change and the hand of someone whos already there. Im here for you. All of you. Its time to get out of the happened box, and into the doing. Much Love.
