Im just going to put this out there...if you dont agree with homeschool thats fine. Dont homeschool. If your disagreement is based solely on the notion that homeschool children are retarded socially, you are making an uninformed and retarded statement. I do understand why people think that-I used to be one of those people. And, yes, there are homeschoolers that are not socialized. In no way is it true that ALL homeschoolers are retarded socially. Just FYI: When you are in public and come across a homeschooling family, realize that it is not your place to try to undermine the informed decisions of the parents by asking their children an ignorant question, do you miss getting to see your friends at school? Of course they do (if they have attended school before). But dont assume that bc they are homeschooled they do to have any friends. And trust me, they DONT miss the long school days /filled with reprimands for socializing -followed by long nights of homework. You do your thing and let others do theirs. And please, dont open your mouth if you havent done your research.
