Im just going to state this and I personally dont care if anyone gets my point, agrees or disagrees, to tell you the truth about it, nor is this statement to be taken as agreement and support of anyone. The word negro is not offensive to me or else I would have ordered a new birth certificate long time ago. It is clearly stated on my Cook County IL born at Cook County Hospital birth certificate issued by the state of IL that I am Negro. Secondly, there are those that are of a certain era/generation that use that word as it was the accepted racial classification word of the times and yes even Blacks used the word negro...listen to Malcolm X and others if you want to argue that, go to Youtube and pull up some speeches, MLK, X and others. Now there are those that state, but they, meaning those that still use the word Negro to today should cease that and get with the program and use the term Blacks or African-Americans, yet I always state, sometimes you cant teach an oldster new tricks and I do mean that. I also find it profound how many on social media are offended more by the word Negro and some are the same ones that I have seen state, nigg** or nigga, lets get real with it okay, to me those are more offensive and right up there with being called a darkie as someone once called me from my inlaws side of the family and she stated it was all she ever knew...I had to swallow my ire and pride and accept that apology! So with all that said, between Blacks/African-Americans and White apologist liberals, stop being so hypocritical in thinking its okay/an exception to sing, state, call, refer to someone as a nigga, and then turn around and make Bundy your outrage target...But as I stated this is not an endorsement, nor defense, its really just my own opinion upon duplicitous & hypocritical practices!
