Im just gonna get this off my chest.....because I dont sleep and this is the dumb stuff I stumble on at 1:30 am. This may offend some people but oh well. A man who is of the Christian ministry who i know very little about other than having seen his face a few times...and that I am in no way affiliated with...made a post about his wife. It was a picture of her wearing her baby on her back and carrying laundry. In the post he stated how she had been thru hell and back in her life...but that through her Christian faith...her entire life had changed. Her beliefs saved her life. The comments left on this post were DISGUSTING!! Christian haters slamming this woman and man left and right. IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH THEIR LIFE OR DONT HAVE ANYTHING POSITIVE TO SAY WHY WOULD YOU EVEN COMMENT??! Get a life!!! Oh..my...goodness i am sooooooo sick of religious bigotry and hate. So what if her life is not the life youd choose?! So what if her god is not your god... the whole point of the post was how this girl nearly killed herself on multiple occasions even as a child....and that by giving her life over to a greater purpose....she was able to become a stable, healthy, happy woman...who years down the road is now a wonderful wife and dedicated mother. The point is HER LIFE HAS CHANGED FOR THE BETTER!! Who stinkin cares through what avenue she took?? Her journey is not my journey....her journey is not your journey. Our roads lead us to different destinations..but is it really important for you to hate on someone because you dont share their beliefs??! Whyyyyyyyy???!! I have friends....good friends and i wont call em out unless they wanna comment...but its a husband and wife who i was friends with when we were just kids...and the last i saw of them as teens...they were both on rocky paths...paths that could have killed them!! You know what they are now?? Devoted Christians...husband and wife....with SIX KIDS....THREE OF THEIR OWN AND THREE ADOPTED!! Yeah thats right....not only did finding spiritual relief and guidance in a higher power save them...but it also saved three children who needed love and care who would not have had it anywhere else!!! So are you gonna sit there and tell me its all for nothing cause you dont believe in what they believe in?! Ugh....if thats how you feel....that you would look a person in the face who had changed their life for the better and tell them they were wrong for it....GET OFF MY FACEBOOK. Yeah thats right...just delete yourself cause obviously youre the one who is sick. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion....but if yours is ugly,hateful, and closed minded...jump on off my friends list. If you for one second knew true agonozing pain and suffering...if you knew what it was like to stab a needle in your arm..pass out drunk because youre trying to numb the pain... stare at a bottle of pills or a loaded gun because you just cant face tomorrow....you would never...NEVER...prosecute someone for being able to climb out of that hole...even if they did it thru the name of a god you dont worship. Im just about fed up with religion...for real...which is bogus cause i tell ya what...i love me some God..but people make it so filthy and negative. Do YOU....dont worry about how anyone else does cause number one its not your business and number two it doesnt play a part in your life. If youre worried about eternal damnation, or if youre worried about false idols, or if youre worried about believing in anything at all....handle it. Thats on you...not your neighbor....not your brother...not your teachers...not your president. Its on you. Just as everyone elses beliefs are on them. (Exhale) There.....done. Have a wonderful New Year.
