Im just looking for some advice. I recently found out my mother is expecting again. She has only one son, who is circumcised. I brought up the subject of circumcision to her and how awful it is and gave her medical facts. She blatantly told me that she would never have a boy who isnt circumcised because its for religious reasons (shes Mormon) I then brought up the fact that the Mormon church doesnt follow the laws of Moses and she told me that I was just lying. I told her that it will be illegal in the near future, she said shed go to a rabbi to get it done if she had to. It makes me so angry shed rather let someone rip her babys genitals to pieces than listen to reason and do some research. I have two boys myself that are whole (which she is livid at me for). I am hoping its a girl but Im so afraid of the damage she would cause to a potential little brother of mine. Shes so brainwashed its scary. What can I do to try and convince her not to do it if its a boy, I want to be prepared in advance, she finds out next week. (Shes seen live circumcisions and it doesnt phase her because of her beliefs so watching videos are out). Thanks in advance! ~A friend
