Im kind of embarrassed to admit this but early last week the girls convinced me to BUY their Halloween costumes. We were at Costco and there was one Elsa and one Anna dress left and they happened to be in the girls sizes. They gave me this whole pitch on why they needed those costumes (especially because they came with wigs). I told them I was planning to make their dresses and they told me that they thought I needed a break from sewing.......that I always work so hard on things for them........and that the new baby will be there in October and it would just be better to buy them so I dont get too tired. So I gave in. Its the first time Ive bought their costumes. Now, of course I cant leave well-enough alone and will be embellishing them further with trims, adding a petti-skirt under the Anna costume and making the cloak to go over the Anna dress. Im still trying to release myself from the guilt of buying those costumes, but if my girls are happy, then I should be happy, right?
