Im late catching up with this… JUST BRILLIANT. Well done David Walliams. When I was at school, a story like this would have been unheard of. Certainly, it would have been laughed at. And I found school very painful. I really didnt believe that Id ever live in a world where two men might get married, or boys might wear dresses. Now, years later, all the boys in my year six class actually choose this book from the shelf to read - without encouragement. And I dont mean the fey gay boys… I mean ALL the boys.
