Im literally losing the will to live having the same argument over and over with the few Ive met in favour of CAS so Im going to say this and then hopefully shut up. 1.ive literally never heard a visitor never mind a local complain about traffic in Kilkenny.ive run a shop here for 24 years and all I hear about is what an amazing place it is to live/visit,the beautiful buildings and the lovely,friendly people.as Enda McEvoy says re:traffic here its not exactly São Paolo 2.progress is constantly portrayed as some grand notion.now while I dont want to go back and live in medieval times,sometimes you have to realise you have this amazing little city that people all over the world have come to know and love.if this bridge is built,theres no going back and everythings changed forever. 3.it comes down to a simple matter of democracy.if for one second I thought this is what the majority want,Id put my hand up and say on you go.the reality Ive found from talking to people from all walks of life is that only a small minority are in favour and to be honest,I think the pro CAS people know this too.
