Im looking for ideas on subtle highlighters/illuminators, so something really natural, like youre lit from within, no glitter and overly sparkly. Mostly for targeted highlighting (top of cheekbones, forehead...). Can be liquid, cream, or powder. Im not gonna worry too much about shades for now (most of the demographic where I live are fair to medium), but something pretty universal would be great. I have a soft spot for champagne-y ones btw. Ive done some research and this is to what I personally narrowed it down to: 1) Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors (I think I wanna get Pearl, first) 2) Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Highlight 01 3) Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight (hesitant, because of the size reduction, it looks really small for the price and the Laura Mercier seems similar, but bigger) 4) Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder singles or maybe the trio palette (Im not sure if these are just to be used all over or can act as a subtle targeted highlighter?) Ive also seen a lot of people recommend a bunch of Benefit and Lorac highlighters, Inglot HD Illuminating powders (I can get those where I live, but again, not sure if theyre just for all over or can be for specific areas, havent swatched them, yet.) and a bunch of products from Kryolan. Its all a bit too much XD, since I have to rely on online swatches, so I thought Id ask for recommendations and your favourites. Feel free to recommend additional products, who knows what Ive missed.
