Im looking into nontraditional options for a shared studio space, - TopicsExpress

Im looking into nontraditional options for a shared studio space, like renting desk space in a room used for other purposes, or even working around scheduled rehearsals/meetings that would be potentially distracted by my putterings and mutterings. My priorities: an easy commute, the option of safely storing an easel and laptop and some works in progress on canvas or board or paper, room to pace around cursing under my breath at these things, large uninterrupted blocks of time in which to properly lose myself. Some natural light would be terrific. Any ideas? Im not afraid of getting hit with wood chips, or setting up in a spare room anywhere, really, if someones looking for a little rent boost.
