Im looking into the viability of getting my bike license and a bike (if I can find one that fits my height well) as a second vehicle. Trying to decide whether its a better option to go through that process or maybe getting a second car. Pros for bike = easier to weave through / avoid traffic, cheaper to run, probably cheaper to buy, easier and cheaper to park. Downsides = weather, not able to carry as much stuff, having to get licensed, safety. Pros for car = can carry stuff / people, already licensed, safety. Downsides = still traffic issues, more expensive to buy, expensive to park, more expensive to run. Sitting on the fence as to what the best option would be. To anyone who has / has experience in this, Id appreciate your thoughts / opinions. I have someone who can teach me to ride etc so thats not a problem, and I would be looking at a minimum of 250 - 300cc (in case that affects anything). Cheers.
