Im loving the responses and posts for the Why I Love my #SisterinSolidarity Challenge! I want to keep the momentum going so Ive decided Im going to pick another amazing womyn to honor tonight! For those of you who dont know, this is how it works: You choose a womyn you really love, admire, respect and has made an impact in your life and write 3 reasons why you love her and how shes impacted your life. Once youve done that, you nominate 5 other womyn to take the challenge. NOTE: If you were the womyn chosen, you also partake in the challenge! Lets spread the Love and keep the momentum going! The womyn Ive chosen today is Ndinda. I actually have no idea the best way to start or how any words can describe the majesty that is her Spirit, but Ill try. 3 Reasons I love her and how shes impacted my life are: 1. She has blown the saying blood is thicker than water right out of the water. She is nothing less than a sister to me and has demonstrated her loyalty in immeasurable ways. When the world was against me, she opened her arms to me and gave me the love, support, and compassion I needed to get myself back on my two feet and keep on trekking forward. She has never judged me for my vices or undermined me for my shortcomings. In fact, throughout the course of our friendship she has actively worked towards empowering me, cultivating my strengths, and helping me transform my weaknesses. 2. She is hands down the most modestly brilliant womyn I know, no questions about it. She is subtle and gentle in the way she speaks and advises. Though her words are few, their impact is vaster than life. This womyns existence is the embodiment of excellence and Divinity. 3. Ndinda, is Love, unconditional Love. The force of love is the underpinning of her actions and words. She emanates this magnificence through her presence and captivating smile. When she is around you instantaneously feel a sense of calm, peace, and security. I love this womyn more than words can describe, and admire/adore her more than shell ever know. Thank you for having such an impact in my love, gracing me with your friendship/sisterhood, and setting an example for all womyn alike!
