Im making Michael Peat some red beans and rice. It seems wheat is not his friend, so its a good thing weve got brown rice based stuff and lentil stuff around. Ive found what looks to be a good recipe for chili: another kind of entree that will not be wheat-based. He says gluten is the problem, so now Ill have to ask the lovely Elizabeth Rousseau for her gluten-free suggestions. Gym was good: 40 minutes at Level 5. Back to the harp as soon as my hands dry out. Doing piles of dishes by hand: I must be doing some sort of accidental rehab... or I merely have a dead dishwasher. But I have two perfectly serviceable dishwashers fastened to the ends of my arms... and it can only add to my hand strength. Although I will draw the line at doing my laundry by hand, this is bound to help with the whole resuming the harp thing. So anyone else doing things radically differently these days? All this cooking is weird, if good, and it keeps being devoured by those athletes. Strangely, the requests for pizza have ceased. The request for burritos has been met by my preparing to make a pork roast into carnitas tomorrow, and Ive got dry beans, which ought to work beautifully, as well as being fiscally much more workable than those canned things.
