Im most certainly not excusing the actions of Mr. Cosby (if they are true), but there are tons and tons of famous and publicly obscure people who have bodies of very good work, who have also done things that I do not respect nor condone. I understand networks not wanting to promote his shows and thats their prerogative. I will say that I have enjoyed hours of him performing his craft - Fat Albert was always a favorite when I was growing up and his stand up is still some of the best. I understand the betrayal that some people feel, because he apparently put on a façade of being a wholesome and honorable individual. This just goes to show that you never know the entirety of a public figures story and we should always temper our judgments of people, in regard to exalting or condemning, because theres so much that we do not know. It is, however, possible to separate the man from the character that he wanted you to believe. If such is not the case, then you really think that Adam West is Batman. We can love the character, but it does not mean that we have to love the actor. -Just my thoughts.
