Im new here, so I will give a quick introduction. I am a follower of Christ. I was raised in Canada. Moved to the US when I was 15 in 1978. I went to Christian Schools and was taught to be a Young Earth Creationist. Something never quite sat right with me however. I had a love of astronomy and I was unsatisfied with the answers I was being given. I was a minister and worker for 20 years in evangelical denominations where Young Earth Creationism was expected. I left that vocation 10 years ago. I now reject Young Earth Creationism. I believe in God and creation. I accept evolution as science. I am an Old Earth Creationist and open to Theistic Evolution as the method God used. Ive been a moderator in the past on the website godandscience.org using the handle Canuckster1127.
