Im no longer the person that will chase someone. If you want out of my life, Ill hold the door. Maybe even with a smile because I know who I am, and how much I can give... including amazing memories... So if you turn that down, Ill tip my hand to you and wave. Im not saying it wont hurt, but these days it really just hurts my ego more than anything. I have a heart, it just takes very little recovery time now. Maybe that means I really didnt care as much as I thought or maybe it just means Ive grown up enough to know when to throw in the towel. What you didnt want,someone else will. Most people dont realize it while wasting time on an unappreciative idiot theres a line of people just waiting for you to be available. At the end of the day Ive just become a pro at rolling with the punches and chalking up the dueces. Lol!
