Im not a Bowie fan, but I somehow managed to love THE MAN WHO SOLD - TopicsExpress

Im not a Bowie fan, but I somehow managed to love THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD and a few other early 70s tracks. Simon & Garfunkel generally make me cringe, but I sure do dig the Harpers Bizarre cover of Feelin Groovy, and solo Simons Kodachrome (mostly for the opening line), and Garfunkel was a decent actor. Blah blah blah. Its complicated, huh? Likewise, I find Freddy Mercury incredibly irritating, and generally dislike Queen, but THIS is a stomper! And I think there might have been a couple of others (please shoot me in the head before making me sit through Bohemian Rhapsody or that horrible rockabilly hit from the early 80s.) But I have my own personal rule that if you make at least ONE great track, then you have achieved greatness! Because face it, most artists crank out crap exclusively. So by that logic, Queen is GREAT! Ummmm, you can try to figure out my twisted logic if you want--Im just gonna listen to this again and rock out--its short, dude!
