Im not a fan of Anita Sarkeesian for several reasons. She doesnt seem to know how to pick her fights, she doesnt adequately research her topics, and shes very confrontational, presenting feminism as sort of an us vs. them war. Thats why shes a rather poor face for the movement. None of this matters anymore though thanks to the GamerGaters, who have ultimately proven her right on many of her topics and forced many people to take her side simply to escape the noxious evil that oozes from GamerGate like tar from a smokers lung. Its really hard to call oneself a gamer now, just like how its hard to self-identify as a Christian or Muslim when right-wing extremists and Islamic terrorists are so prolific these days.
