Im not a fan of the Kardashians (Im even known to refer to then as the Kartrashians from time to time) but I was curious to see Kims dress for her wedding to Kanye this weekend. What really shocked and stunned me was all the disgusting and racist comments about their interracial love in popular media comment boards as I scanned for a shot of the gown. Last I checked its 2014, not 1952. The dress was pretty but I feel like I was punched in the gut after reading some of that hate. And in other news, once upon a time I stood next to Kanye as he admired a $2M Andy Warhol on sale at Art Basel in Miami. I didnt know who he was until my brother said, You were rubbing elbows with Kanye over there. I had only noticed he was really short and I had mused on his fashion choices, because he was wearing white leather pants and a pastel patchwork leather jacket. This was before Kim. I knew his music from the cardio hip hop class I was taking at that time - the class where I was the big banana breaking a sweat in goofy huge white running shoes while trying to move in a way very different than my classical dance training. Looking back, I could have really embarrassed myself with some grapevine and fist pumps. #JustAnotherMissedOpportunity
