Im not a huge Christmas lover (Im not miserable) but for me I embrace christmas in the spirit that there are people less fortunate than us ...so Im allocating an amount I can afford to give to food banks, buy hots drinks and food for those who arent blessed with a warm roof over their heads , food in their cupboards and children with no toys in their toy boxes .. And thats just the way I feel ..I cant walk past someone shivering on a street corner and not acknowledge them, know families are struggling to buy food and toys to make a Christmas for their young families ...situations can change in a blink of an eye, any of us could find ourselves like this one day ...people work hard I know, and some dont, i know that too , but some people find themselves with nothing ...I dont like the indulgence and vulgarity of so many presents, it makes me feel nauseous...so Im purchasing one gift each for two special munchkins in my life who are so loved and will not go with out any of the above, unlike some people this year , imagine what a difference we all could make
