Im not a pro-Israel fanatic by any means, but the usual trickle of Antisemitic posts and Israel - Nazis comparisons has become a deluge in response to the events in Gaza. Anyone whose thinking operates on this level of simplicity is not capable of rational thought about the situation and has nothing of value to contribute. Hundreds of rockets falling on densely-populated towns isnt a joke; its a war crime. Nothing in this dispute is unilateral; but its becoming clear that Hamas is essentially a terrorist organization that is a permanent impediment to a peaceful settlement, as much or more than Netanyahus bullying and intransigence. And they are regarded as such by Egypt, which heartily wishes that Israel would get rid of them for good.
