Im not a super sentimental person, but I just wanted to say, this may have been my first and last OUCH competition with the UHHU fam, but for me its not about how many memories or how much time Ive had with them its the quality of these memories and times that Ive invested with them that I hold dear. For me its not hitting the stage with this new fam that was the stand out memory for me, it was the hours of rehearsals and jokes that we made together. Thank you Aaron, Dan, Joshua and Rodney for trusting us to bring their vision to the stage and allowing us to be the vessel for that vision. Thank you to my team mates for being exactly who they are nothing more and nothing less because that is why I and the rest of us love you. Thank you to Sid for creating this union for which we share our love of hip hop and its culture. last but not least thank you to everyone and anyone Ive ever danced with because in some way you have helped me grow through training or by learning about your expression through watching and I owe it to you all to take these lessons and become stronger, so I promise to keep growing and hopefully show you all one day the collective products of you lessons. Violeta, Alex, Johnny, Jonathan, Jason, Una, Amanda, Ximena, Andrea, Shine, Matthew and every dancer in and out of Toronto that Ive had the pleasure and privilege of meeting.
