Im not affiliated with any club or organization on campus, I have however been in your shoes. More or less, I would argue a majority of you come from a very mono-ethic area (most likely very asian-american), and coming to Cal Poly, the rapid change in the ethnic demographic of the city and culture of the school overall can be overwhelming especially if you arent very gregarious or social by default. Im not trying to sell you shit, nor persuade you to join any organization (unless youre into jiu-jitsu or muay thai... then Paragon + Elite Muay Thai is definitely right up your alley :] ) Im simply here to offer any advice or answer any questions you have regarding the transition or anything at all about SLO/Poly. Imagining myself back in your shoes, it was definitely a bit worrisome finding your niche or social circle especially in a new environment, so hopefully I can help guide you towards having the best year of your college experience. Im working fulltime right now so, I might lag a bit, but please feel free to shoot me messages. 4th YR/Finance/Not part of any Asian Bubble
