Im not an economist, I dont understand the nitty gritty of what you call rebasing (I just realised now that that word is not recognised by my phone dictionary)! What I do understand is how much money is available to me and the purchasing power of that amount. So, our govt should stop blowing unfamiliar vocabulary and make life easy for the citizenry. We buy fuel at N97.00 despite being oil producing country(many time we have to beg and struggle with our money for that fuel), kerosine is average of N120 instead of N50, we pay for darkness instead of light every month, and on and on and on and on like that. Yet our leaders are blowing provoking grammar of rebasing! Is this a govt? Thank God elections are almost here though!
