Im not ashamed to admit it. I play old tracks in my sets a lot. And new tracks. And stuff that isnt trance at all. Sure, new sounds are cool. But if you have the whole wellspring of your favorite genres to draw from, why the hell wouldnt you play kickass tunes from past years alongside kickass tunes from now? Just because theyre 4 or 5, or 10 years old doesnt diminish their impact or quality. I dont care if its 2 months, or 20 years old. If it kicks ass, and fits with the sound of the night, Ima play it. Awesome music is timeless.
