Im not big on this whole New year, new me crap. However, this year already, has been different. I dont know what, and I dont know how, but already I am starting to see who Ive outgrown, and who Im growing into. People I felt so strongly about, looked up to, etc. suddenly....not so much. Im seeing people in different eyes now, and really seeing people who I never noticed before for who they really are, and whats going on inside...not just what they claim to be on the outside. This status update wont make sense to everyone, but to me...its the best way to describe life right now. I honestly think I know myself better today, than ever before...and I am so excited to see how much more I will evolve in the years to come. This doesnt mean its been an easy year so far, by all means, but every night, Ive gone to bed at the end of a long day thinking WOW...I cant believe what I learned today! Having kids, being married, having a job, that doesnt make you a grown up. Its that drive inside you that says This is my life, and this is how I want to do things...and if your lucky...youll strive to do it right and try your damned hardest till the end. Those who are meant to be with you on the journey, will always be...those who are not...wont be able to hang on for the bumpy ride anyhow, so no need to keep hanging on to them and wasting your precious energy.
